C. arabica, native of Ethiopia represents approx. 70 pct. of the coffee production. The plant is an evergreen large bush with dark green, oval shaped leaves that can reach a hight of 8 m. The flowers give way to the red coffee cherries of oval shape with 2 beans side-ba-side. Each tree can produce 10-12 kgs coffee a year.
